Prince of Hoops - Make it Rain
Prince of Hoops is a familiar story told through a blending of photography and illustration.
By tying in basketball nomenclature visually, we are able to bring the image to life and communicate a well known story - the tale of a young person emulating a sporting hero with ambitious dreams of becoming a professional athlete.
Fortune favors a hot hand, but to Make it Rain practice makes perfect.
In this initial print we find Lil’ Ordell (Latin for the beginning) at a basketball oasis; a unique Southern California court surrounded by the sound of waves, an expansive beach, and one friendly seagull.
